After legally changing your name, it's important to update your student loan records to ensure all your loan documentation is accurate. Contact your loan servicer or provider directly to update your name and other relevant information. You will likely need to provide legal documentation, such as your Name Change Order, to complete this process.
Many of these services won't need a legal name change, but it's always nice to get things addressed to the real you. Most services allow you to update your personal information via your account settings on their websites or apps.
